That's an interesting idea, but there can be more than
once, since Takahashi didn't give us the answer herself.

In Change of Scene, we'll see Shampoo having children 
(perfectly normal ones, thank you), but Akane (who is
married to Ranma) unable to conceive.  My explanation
for why will be rather different!
