Although your fic is well written and the idea is interesting, I think
the role you have certain charaters playing creates too much of a
conflict.

Thanks for that, at least :)

Ranma giving up his dream and whining? He's afraid to take a
chance?........Too much character deteriation. Singing is believable.

. . . I dunno, I can see it. In Manga vol 13 when Ranma thought he had
lost his strength forever, he HAD given up for good, and felt sorry about
himself and whined. Besides, being a good martial artist is one thing,
being an idol is another. From the female adoration mania (netwise)
concerning ultra bishonens like Kamui (X), Subaru (X, TB), Kurama (YYH),
I'd say Ranma is more than a less than hopeful in the idol scheme of things.

Akane as Goa...perfect fit but still can't see her being gentle and
attentive to Ranma.

I'm trying to explain it off as to do withe the "incident" in the past that
had changed everything.

Shampoo as the Dyson?...same problem with Ranma.

Umm . . . Sean and Chris actually both encouraged it, saying it's the
perfect role for Shampoo, which I agree totally.

Suggestions or a possibility: Why not use Kasumi as (the producer)?
She had the most to lose and probably have the best voice and feelings
to properly fill the role of Shawn or Sharon's emotions.

Problem: I dislike writing Kasumi, she's just not to my taste.

Ranma would
have been perfect for Dyson......risk taker, irresponsible , and
excellent martial artist pilot.

Except I can't see Ranma being straightforward SEXUALLY, and his ultimate
wooing techniques (the ones he used on both Tsubasa and Shampoo) is just so
NOT Dyson. Ranma my be irresponsible, but he is too uptight and easily
flustered to be Dyson. Only Shampoo, IMO, fills the role since there are
no men who has the right "wild playboy" feel of teh Mac + Hero.

Plot: Ranma get sick of the fiancee and relationships and takes off.
He left with a violent fight with Akane. Thus the Akane/Goa and
Ranma/Dyson conflict. Akane has been hurt so bad that she momentarily
was willing to kill Ranma (as in the plane incident).

Kasumi having realized that her place at the Dojo is destroying her,
leaves. On earth she falls into the group of Apple's development.
She comes back to Eden to face her past and what it did to her.

Sharon's attraction to Ranma/Dyson, since the image is only relaying her
deepest feelings......have Kasumi fall in love with Ranma but doesn't
know it. She sees Ranma as everything that she isn't or wants to be.
Someone who isn't tied down with obligation and responsibility.

What do you think?

Aiya . . . again, no offense, but I hate writting Kasumi. She struck me as
being a completely artifical being, hiding behind sickening kawaiiness
instead of Sharon Apple's sensual drama. Can't stand that (no offense to
Kasumi fans)!
