Okay, I do have one person interesting in doing at least one more part 
for this story, so I may revise the first part a bit based on various
suggestions.

But first a question many have asked: Why does Ranma and Genma know
English.

To which I reply: Because I said they do.

Those who have read it know that it starts out like a alt-universe where
Ranma and the panda fight in San Francisco instead of Nerima. This leads
to a character that makes the reader think of parallels with Akane, and
thus that she's an alternate version of Akane (she's not).

Of course, some hints are dropped about problems back in Japan and with
Akane that forced them to flee Japan. So the story is actually post vol
38.

Now, I don't recall ever seeing any direct reference in the manga to
Ranma knowing English or not (I may be mistaken, there are untranslated
parts I haven't read). Personally, I'd doubt he would know English with
all the traveling he's done and lack of schooling, but for the purpose of
this story I don't want to deal with language problems, so he knows
English.

That said, there are about 1-2 years between the end of the manga and the
start of this story for Ranma and Genma to learn English.


Now the future: I will be doing at least one revision of the first part
before I leave the next part in my co-author's hands. After that... It
depends on the response.

I was thinking about a round robin approach to each par, but we'll see
how the revision and next part work out.
