Actually, you know, I was thinking the very same thing. I mean,
why else all the gooey black gunk stuff that 'Akane' was spewing up? Why
the birth in the temple? I figured the evil was trying to get free or
something.
Then again, having the baby grow up to have the martial skills of
Ranma/Akane/Kuno, and the mercenary desires/abilities of Nabiki -- hey,
sounds like a potential arch-fiend and harbringer of real nasty things to
me...
