There's no joy anymore.
I think it's time to retire; when I started writing anime fanfiction, it
was for two reasons: to improve my writing, and to give back something to a
field I was taking from(by reading it). I've never truly enjoyed writing,
what I have enjoyed is reading, and giving others something to read. But
now I find that there simply is no joy in anime fanfiction. I haven't read
anything in months that interested me. And when reading doesn't interest
me, neither does writing.
After four years of reading anime fanfiction, and over two years of writing
it, I guess it's all just starting to drag.
Don't worry about I'm Here to Help, I'll send that as soon as I can find my
copy of it. And I will finish One Hundred Percent Woman before I completely
go. As to the rest: Knights of the Saber, Wild Eyes, Neko and anything
else, if anyone truly wants to continue them, then talk to me.
My apologies to the prereaders I collected for apparently no good reason:
I'll have you guys look at 100%, just to justify wasting your time. It
won't be in your mailboxes for a fair while though.
As for me, I'm not going to stop writing, I'll just start again in another
area where I still find joy. Who knows... one day, I may find that
contentment in anime again, and find joy in writing it again. After all, I
always did have plans for more Sailor Moon fics. Until then, goodbye.
