I let the panelists and the audience decide the content of the discussion. 
Only when the panel begins to drag or get off-topic do I bring up subjects
myself.  (Or if there's something I really want to talk about.)

Usually, the discussion is about the art of writing and publishing.  Topics
include genres, writing styles, and fanfiction web sites.  I always finish
my panels by letting the panelists plug their upcoming works.
