usually figure these things out fairly early...

Alright, I'm curious if I'm right or not.  Good story so far.  I
like the use of Daisuke although I'm not really sure how, aside
from asking questions, that he could have done anything.  It's
well paced, only the one mispelled word that I noticed and I'm
sincerely hoping that you actually post the conclusion here
soon.
