					          Prologue

Lady Ayeka, you cant put yourself into cryostasis again Kiyonne said as
she was trying to restrain the Jurian princess.
Yes I can responded Ayeka. Tenchi said that he loved me right before,
right before.. she said before tears prevented her from completing her
sentence.
I am sure you are going through a lot of pain but Miss Washu said that she
never saw a virus like this before and that the only way Tenchi would survive
is if he were
put into a cryogenic sleep in the hopes that a cure will be found in the
future. He could be
asleep for hundreds of years.
I can accept that. I know what it is like to be asleep for that long. If I
am
put to sleep together than when we can wake up together and marry like nothing
ever
happened.
Get a grip on yourself princess. Shouted Ryoko whose grief caused her
to remain silent until now. You werent the heir to the Jurian Empire then.
Now that
Tenchi is, Tenchi is Ryoko couldnt bring herself to say gone. She was mad
when
Tenchi said that he loved Ayeka and not her but she loved him and she knew
that she
would always love him until she breathed her last breath. Well Yosho vowed
never to take
control over the Jurian Empire, so the responsibility is yours now.
Shut up! Screamed Ayeka. Sasami can do it and your probably just
jealous because Tenchi picked me over you.
Ayekas last statement made Ryoko madder than any thing the princess ever
said before with a fierce growl she slapped Ayeka harder than ever before and
yelled.
Sasami is too young to become heir to empire now and maybe Tenchi did pick
you over
me. But he still meant more to me than any other person in my two thousand-
year existence
And I have the strength to carry on. Why dont you?
I see said Ayeka with a stammer. Azaka, Kamidake
Yes my lady said both guardians said both guardians waiting at attention
for their mistress orders.
You well both watch over Tenchi while he is in cyrostasis like you did
with me.
		Yes my lady.
Lady Ayeka, where do you plan on keeping Tenchis capsule? asked
Kiyonne.
On Jurai besides me responded Ayeka.
I dont think that is very wise. Your father never really had a liking for
Tenchi and I am sure he will do all that is in his get rid of Tenchi and his
capsule.
Youre right responded Ayeka. Then we will put him a cloaked Jurian
Ship and have it remain in a safe part of Tenchis home galaxy.
		What ship?
The Heavens Fire. It was the ship that mother and Lady Funaho planned
to give Tenchi. It would be a fine sleeping chamber for him.

		The 24th century:

Captain Jean-Luc Piccard sighed as he sat back at his desk and sipped his
tea in his private office. After a two-month vacation on Earth the USS
Starship enterprise
and its crew were back on duty protecting the known universe and exploring the
unknown
parts. At least it would be a while before he had to go onto the bridge, he
thought to
himself maybe he would listen to some Bach for relaxation.
Will Captain Piccard please report to the bridge. Announced the intercom
before he was able to put his relaxation plan into action.
With one final long sigh, Jean-Luc Piccard forced himself to get up from his
comfortable chair and go to the bridge where he was needed. What is the
problem? We
should only be at Saturn by this time said Piccard as he entered the bridge
from his office.
I will report on that sir Data responded. I was doing a standard run of
the
new cloak detection equipment and it picked up a ship.
What type of ship was it? Romulan? Klingon? Borg? asked Piccard
hoping that it was not a Borg ship.
None of those sir. It is an old Jurian ship?
		How old?
It is from the twentieth century, sir.
