See, Ranma's actually been calling the "teen help hotline" set up through
Kolkhoz, where Mikado was working in an attempt to meet girls who had not yet
been introduced to his gifts. Ranma then learned that the Emperor wasn't such
a bad guy, and since they'd already kissed once, that would explain why he was
so quick to kiss him in the fic.
