The basic idea here looks fun.  However, you might want to get a
collaborator or rent an Evangelion tape.  Fics might give you a 
good idea of characterisation but physical descriptions of characters, 
and things, including the EVAs, are frequently inadequate.  I'd 
appreciate the occasional description of the Nadesco characters as 
well.
