I have to agree with this.  I think the idea could produce a good
story, but there is too much similarity (and blatant rips)
to Differing Powers for this version to be interesting.

    I was wondering, has anyone done a fic where Ranma's time is a few ages
ahead of Rands and he's the Dragon now? And maybe while he sleeps, he starts
dreaming of Rand's time and experiences Rands life? This could be like the way
the guy(forgot his name) in Raymond E. Feist's Magician, 1st book of the Rift
War saga, dreamed of the past of the DragonLord he was turning into. Then Rand
could dream of Ranma's life and they'd eventually meet each other in dreamworld
somewhere.
