Many apologies for the spam (at least it's garnished this time).

       I have the damndest idea about a spring where those who fall in
become Ranma. In other words, they come out looking like him, with his voice
and martial arts abilities. 

Well, then Ranma could also hop in right after creating the spring and
become Ranma full time.

Also, Mouse would jump in and pass himself off as Ranma to Shampoo.

I doubt Ryoga would do that.

Kodachi would throw some dog into it and get a Ranma for herself (its not
like she's looking for intellectual stimulation).


Of course, if the spring of drowned Ranma also gives both a male and
female version of Ranma, then this could really get screwy. Cold water
randomly turns the cursed person into boy-Ranma or girl-Ranma. Hmmmm,
would drive Kuno crazy at least.

     Kasumi found her father cradling her mother in his arms. He
had run out of tears to shed long ago, but the expression on his face
told the story. Kasumi calmly slid the door closed and knelt down
facing her father and mother, tears started flowing from her eyes.

     After several minutes of silence, Soun asked with a scratchy
voice, "Kasumi dear. Will you please say goodbye to your mother and
then go get Mr. Saotome?" He didn't look up at his daughter once.

     "Of course, Father," Kasumi said. She stood up, took one of her
mother's hands in hers, and said a soft, "Goodbye, Mother. I'll keep
my promise."
