I can live with using 'tonite' instead of tonight and using manga only
references and yet say Akane never cooked a decent meal (which she did
in volume 25).
However, there is one major problem with this story. Nodoka's, Genma's,
and Soun's reactions to Akane's pregnancy.
Each of them have given parental consent to having sexual relations.
Soun and Genma weren't the least upset when Ranma snuck into Akane's
room in volume 2. Soun even said, 'It just shows he's a healthy lad.'
They have been shown time and time again to WANT Ranma and Akane to have
sex, which means eventual pregnancy. Not to mention the engagement is a
matter of giri, which offers more protection to negative reactions
concerning Akane getting pregnant.
Nodoka's reaction strikes me as the most wrong, getting Akane pregnant
would be final proof that Ranma was a man's man. If Happosai didn't have
that panty fetish, he'd be Nodoka's ideal role model.
If Akane walked home and said she was pregnant and hadn't married Ranma
yet, the time remaining before the wedding would be measured in hours if
not minutes.

Tsubasa ran like his life depended on it,
while bake-neko chased after calling out,
"My young bride!" - Ranma 1/2 anime episode #138.
In the manga series, there was also the time that Ranma thought Akane
had been permanently turned into a duck - the 'wedding' was probably
started within half an hour, and was stopped when the real Akane came
home.
