To celebrate the return of Dark Shadows to the Science Fiction Channel
(check your local listings, as they say), I spontanously came up with
this little snippet.  Read it for what its worth!	


	As Angelique knelt, clutching her blood-stained shoulder, she uttered
her malediction upon Barnabas Collins.  "I set a curse upon you,
Barnabas Collins.  You will never be able to rest...And you will never
be able to love!  Whoever loves you will..."  The witch collapsed before
she could complete her words.
	But the powers she invoked had been set in motion.  As Barnabas left
the drawing room of the Old House, dark and ominous clouds hung heavy
over the mansion, and from seemingly nowhere, a torrent of water poured
out of the air and drenched Barnabas.  He felt himself
twisting, shifting, altering in strange and unfathomable ways, and as he
caught sight of himself in the hall mirror, he suddenly realized the
true horror and meaning of Angelique's words.
	The tall, dark haired woman that stared back at him in the mirror
muttered, "Now how am I going to explain *this* to Josette?"
