Um, what you crossed it over with is far from unknown in the US.
They made it into a Playstation game.

Yeah, that's where I got it from.  And Lurker took me to task for vastly
underestimating how many people have Playstations and have played this game.

Suffice it to say that perhaps more than ten people on the FFML may have
heard of Parasite Eve.  ^_^
