To the older members of the FFML...
How does one keep the fire of writing alive?
I feel I'm losing that spark that first got me writing fanfiction.
That first bit of inspiration to write...
Seems long and gone.
And lately, for me, fanfiction is beginning to loose its luster.
Each day, I used to look forward to writing...
But now, it becomes harder to stay still and write...
How do you do you do it?
Keeping that desire, that fire, to write...
I used to think, starting a new story would be good...
It kept that spark, that interest alive.
But it seems that I was wrong...
Keeping and holding that story for so long...
That I should have passed it on...
Or should have finished the one I was working on.
Time seemed like a friend then...
And as the hours, days even months passed on...
I found that I couldn't begin were I left off.
So I waited and waited, letting my frustrations die...
Waiting for that spark of inspiration to come by.
And it did, in the form of a friend...
Who told me they had enjoyed what I've written.
So here and now I began to write again...
That spark still alive, in the form of a friend...

A bit corny, huh?
Anyway, please forgive me for my rant. I had nothing else better to do
while waiting for my class to start. Hope I didn't offend anyone. Any
C&C is welcome.
Sincerely,
~ Kahlil N.
