The link copied the other Ranma's martial arts skills into
himself, and he used those skills to fight Akane Tendou to a
standstill. Kodachi Kunou escaped from an Earth being torn
apart by civil war by transferring her mind to this one.
Kodachi sought out Ranma, who was a friend in her old life, but

The various new Mages of Nerima awaken to the morning and the
fact they command magic. The flow of mana begins to flow
through the teens, changing them in ways they cannot fully
understand. The war for dominance of Magic begins, as Akane,
Shampoo, and Ukyo fight to win Ranma with their new powers. At
the same time, Ryoga wanders, gaining strength, while Nabiki,
Mousse, and Kodachi plot. Kasumi cleans house and cooks while
Ranma and Kuno begin to think on the power they now command.
The fire of conflict is just beginning to smolder.
