I don't know yet. I *THINK* the writers of Sailor Moon fanfiction are
probably going to be safe ... especially as long as they (?) stick to the
Japanese version and Japanese names; that way there's less of a chance of
alleged copyright infringement. Don't take my word on it, though ...
copyright law isn't my strong point, so I *could* very easily be wrong.
(It's happened before, after all ...)

    Fanfiction has rarely stepped on toes. It's rare to have a fanfic put
down from copyrights infringements. It would cost the companies more time and
money to stop it that it would be better to let is go and get publicity.

Anyway, I intend to sit tight and keep an eye on what happens - but I do
have one recommendation for the Sailor Moon writers out there: once the
Sailor Moon novels hit market, the chances for Sailor Moon fanfics to
survive go *way* up if we don't have lemons floating around to give the
series a bad appearance ... n.n;;;

That's my thought(s) on the subject. If Tybalt does indeed ban this thread
.. at least I've weighed in before I hear that it's been banned. ^^; My
apologies to anyone and everyone who considers the whole topic spam, but
there *is* some relevance to fanfic-writing (at least, in my view).

    They say no, but it has never stoped fanfiction, Oh well... who knows.

*Ducks the incoming 'banned' stampings*
