This is my first post to the list after lurking
approx. six months. A friend of mine is posting this 
to  alt.fan.bgcrisis . 

Flames are expected, critiscism appreciated,
and compliments undeserved. 


I was rereading Twisted Path 3 and noticed this
bit: 
'"Hmmm...gee, I wonder who could be behind this. 
G...E...N...O...M...and Genom is it's name-o," he
sarcastically sang to himself.' 

The fragment of song stuck in my head and wouldn't 
leave me alone until I wrote this. 

Gomen nasai.


[Note: this is to the tune of B-I-N-G-O, which 
should be fairly obvious. If you don't know the tune,
I envy you. Some of the lines are a trifle fudged,
but they DO at least scan. Mostly.]


There was an evil company,
And Genom was its name-o..
G-E-N-O-M, G-E-N-O-M, G-E-N-O-M
And Genom was its name-o.

There were some gals that fought Genom,
And Saber was their name-o..
S-A-B-E-R, S-A-B-E-R, S-A-B-E-R
And Saber was their name-o.

First there was this insane guy,
And Mason was his name-o..
M-A-S-O-N, etc.

Then there was this evil car, 
and Griffin was its name-o.. 
Gri-F-F-I-N.. ^_^

Mason came back as a droid,
And Largo was his name-o..

The heir of Chang, she kicked some ass,
And Vision was her name-o..
[Alternate: And Reika was her name-o..]

Then Miriam, he tried to kill, 
And Failure was his name-o..
FAY-L-U-R-E.. 

Then there came the BG Crash,
And GHODS, but it did STINK-o..
S-T-I-N-K..

Now there is the TV show,
Somehow, they made it WORSE-o..
W-O-R-S-E.. [you'll have to do weird things 
to the pronunciation of W to sing this, but I 
promise, it CAN be sung. ^_^]

We must all now write fanfic, 
'Cause we are all addicted,
Oh, gods, yes we are..
