be an American Anime, or as close as we can get over here?  My four

are:

a.  Batman, the Animated Series (Up to and including Batman/Superman)
b.  Gargoyles; seasons 1 and 2 (the jury's still out on 'The Goliath
Cronicles, though)

No no no.  TGC shouldn't even be remotely considered.  Ugh.  Evil.  We
can't have an animated series that makes people think, now can we...

c.  Exosquad (If you ever saw 'Fall of the Neosapien Empire, you've

seen

one of the greatest endings on a US series ever)
d. Beast Wars (I think Lurker made my point already)

I thought the entire Transformer line WAS anime.  Someone correct me if
I'm wrong though.
