For those who recently commented on my story idea, let me say I will not be
continuing it.  I've been up most of the night considering characterization
and continuity problems and haven't been able to resolve them.  I'm pretty
certain that the two different series cannot be combined with out seirously
violating one or both of them.   If anyone else want to continue with this
idea, they are welcome to.
