Might as well join in on the fun...

Lindsey slammed the door shut. "I'm home!" she yelled. Lindsey blinked then
realized the house house was empty. "Figures," she muttered, "they're never
home when I need them." Shaking herself out of thoughts of boiling her
parents slowly in oil, Lindsey went to check mail. "Mom, dad, mom, mom, dad,
junk, Bobbie, wrong house, Prince of--WHAT?!!" Lindsey held out the elegant
envelope by her fingertips, almost expecting it to jump at her or something.
Why would someone send her something like this, to her home, but address it to
her screen persona? She walked into the family room, neatly depositing the
rest of the mail on the coffe table and got out a knife. She quickly slit the
envelope open and read the same message everyone else on the FFML had (well
althose who actually got their mail and read it):
------------------------------------------------

Lindsey blinked. She blinked again. The four horsemen of Apocalypse were
hosting a party and inviting her. Lindsey went to check her e-mail and see
whether anyone else on the FFML had gotten a letter like this. She had moved
2 steps before she heard a tapp on the window. Something told her that this
was going to be a BAD thing. The tapping came again, more insistent. Lindsey
went over to the window. Standing on the porch, were two men. One was short
andbald, though he didn't look all that old, the other looked to be in his
late 30s with spiky black hair and a scowl fixed on his face. Lindsey
recognized them almost immidiatly and and took a step back, gasping with
shock.
"Are you the Prince of Dragons?" Krillin asked politely. It was all she could
do to nod.
"Hn," Vegita snorted, "she doesn't look like a prince."
Lindsey growled. "It's just my sig. If you don't like it you can go screw
off." She realized in the back of her head that it probably wasn't the best
idea to piss off the Prince of the Saiyajins, but the shock had put her in a
vicious mindset.
"We're your escorts to the Horsemen's ball," Krillin cut in gently, "and we
should probably get going if we want to make it on time."
Lindsey opened her mouth to say something else but thought better of it and
closed it again. She went to her backpack and pulled something out. "What's
that?" Vegita wanted to know.
"My notebook. I don't go anywhere without it," She replied. That finished,
she went out the door. Krillin picked her up gently and began to float. Then
the small group flew off. After a few moments of fear, Lindsey relaxed a bit
and let herself enjoy the flight. She leaned her head against Krillin's
shoulder as she thought, 'I could get used to this.'
All to soon they arived at what appeared to be a large dressing room. Before
Lindsey could voice any questions, Krillin explained, "You aren't dressed for
the ball. This is were we can get you some clothes that conform to the dress
code." The two men herded her into the dressing room and Lindsey looked at
all the Anime style clothes that surrounded. Lindsey started to tick off in
her head the clothes she couldn't wear.
'Not leggy enough for sailor suits, no hard suits, its too hard to move in
guyvers... (etc, etc, etc.)' It went on like that for a while until Vegita
bent his version of The Glare (tm) on the young girl. Hurriedly she grabbed
something that looked a lot like one of Ranma's chinese outfits and put it on.
'Well, I certainly fill it out well enough,' Lindsey thought.
Krillin grabbed her hand. "We need to get moving," he told her.
He and Vegita led her to the ball room. "Wow," she whispered...

Okay that's my piece. (At least until I get inspired again) It was longer
than I expected though. Hope you read through all of it.
The Prince of Dragons
don't ask why I'm male and female, it's complicated (no, I'm not Oscar)...
