   I for one would like to see that approach done. Genma as
someone trying to be a good father, only in his own mind.
   Personally my belief is he is do warped from his time
with Happi, he truly doesn't know right from wrong anymore.
The Happi part is because Soun shows some of the same
tendencies, just not as much. Probably because of his wife
and Kasummi.

	If you think of it, Genma's role in the Ukyo situation can be looked 
on as very similar to Happi's naming of Pantyhose, or the incident with the 
two "Lost Sisters".  IE, an incident that they could explain as love of the 
art inspiring them to give someone the motivation necessary to train 
themselves to their potential.  Like the song "A boy named Sue"
	As for Genma it's not so much him not knowing right from wrong, it's 
rather that he doesn't think of Right from wrong untill after he's thought 
of the effects on his stomach, and he never thinks of the concequences in 
the long term at all.
	And there's one thing he shares with almost every martial artist in 
the series:  One important part of Martial arts is being able to act without 
thinking, every martial artist trains so that they can punch, kick, dodge, 
etc without needing to take the time to think of it.  In Ranma however, 
almost every martial artist in the cast has generalised this into a way of 
living to some degree or another.
