It's been a while since I've come up with these kinds of lists, but apparently
this ffml needs some humor! So...
Top Ten Rejected Fanfic Conventions:
10) When you pour cold water on Kasumi Tendo, she becomes Kasumi from Pokemon.
 9) Ataru Moribishu grows up and becomes the President of the United States and
has an affair with an oni intern.
 8) Rimachu (Pikachu's sister) loves mustard. Neither of them loves relish.
 7) Happousai not only chases panties but boxers and briefs as well and cleans
them.
 6) Nabiki Tendo not only has a computer, but she also has Knight Rider 30000,
all of Lara Croft's personal equipment, a phasor, and tricorder at her disposal.
 5) All EVA characters must go through some earth-shattering-life-or-death
crisis except Gendo.
 4) Someone must complain that there are too many Ranma 1/2 fanfics at least
once every two years.
 3) Keiichi has to be shy around Belldandy because he loves to be a submissive
little slut to Belldandy.
 2) Miyaa! Pu! Pikachu! ChibiChibi! Kawaii! Bwee! There...did I miss any?
And the number one rejected fanfic convention:
 1) No one ever C&C anything anymore unless you're out to get attention and to
tick everyone off.

Top Ten Questions that I've wondered as I've reads these fics:
10) What is an Angel, anyway?
 9) Why couldn't Ryouga just shoot Ranma's brains out and get it over with?
 8) If "None of the Above" does so well on monthly fanfic awards, how come I
haven't read it yet?
 7) I wonder if what would have happened if after Ranma finds out he can turn
into a girl, he said, "Cool!" and Genma didn't like that?
 6) Is it just me, or is everyone writing Tenchi like he's Woody Allen or
something?
 5) Why am I finding myself liking "Waiting for Minako?"
 4) I wonder what would happen if the golden pair weren't into figure skating
but hockey?
 3) Tennis anyone?
 2) Is there a cross-over that hasn't been done? (Don't answer that.)
And the number one question that I've wondered as I've read these fics:
 1) Is Usagi really THAT annoying and stupid?

Top Ten Things I've Learned by Reading Fanfiction:
10) Never mailbomb anyone even if he's a complete jerk and makes Gubby look like
a nice guy.
 9) Kasumi isn't clueless, and Genma isn't an evil father; they're just 
characterized that way.
 8) Avoid mallets, spatulas, cats, and spelling errors at all cost.
 7) Never C&C a fic saying: "Well, it was a pretty good fic, but it could have
used an actual plot."
 6) It is a far, far better thing to be flamed than to not have your fanfic to
be noticed at all.
 5) Be creative. I mean how many Takewaki & Kodachi love stories have to be
written anyway?
 4) Tiny alterations doth not maketh a new story.
 3) There are probably worse things in life than to have one's story being
critqued by Gary Kleppe. However, I can't think of any at the moment.
 2) If you don't know if something has already been done or not, write about it
anyway. At least it could be better than the original.
And the number one thing I've learned from reading fanfics:
 1) Everyone should write a lemon. Just don't include any kitties, okay?
