One thing for all fanfic writers to take into consideration - when 
dealing with Treknical matters, do not forget the ever-present 
"Trek-ion" concept. When in trouble, there's some sort of ion that will 
fix it. Dekions, tachyons, plasion, mesions, pleasions, anime-ions, 
whatever-ions, etc.

It just wouldn't be Trek without 'em  ^_^
