The only thing I ask is, "What's the point of this fanfic?"

As far as I'm concerned, this is not real crossover. About 90% of the fun
of a crossover is seeing how the two series _interact_. This means that the
characters from one series must come into direct contact with the
characters of the other and/or the environment of the other. That's when
interesting things happen.

Here, the only thing the fic does is embed the AMG universe in the ST
universe. The universes, however, are still segregate. As far as the AMG
universe is concerned, it would make little difference if the AMG universe
were a holodeck simulation or a figment of some wacky manga artist's
imagination. Similarly, the ST universe isn't going to be much changed if
the holodeck plunged into a star or just floated forever in interstellar
space. It's just a damn holodeck.

I ask again: What is the point of this fanfic?
