Oh boy, how long has it been since I sent something to the FFML
anyway? Oh well, just a little reminder that I'm not dead; no matter how
much certain individuals might wish ^_^.
Genma stood, stunned still as he looked upon the place in front of
him. Where the Tendo Dojo had been, there was now nothing but a normal
house in it's place. Shocked, he checked the address of the place again
in case he had gotten lost. No, he was in the correct place but what had
happened. He tried to ask the first passer-by who came along before he
remembered he was a panda at the moment.
Finally, through the aid of signs, he finally found out that the whole
Tendo family had seven years ago when an unfortunate fire had started.
No one knew for sure how the fire started although some witnesses
claimed to have seen a shrunken old man leaving the scene as the fire
started. Since Genma had never contacted the Tendos before; except for
that one time had sent that postcard, he had remained unaware of the
tragedy. Sighing morosely or at least as much as a panda could be seen
to, he pondered upon his situation as he set Ranma-chan down onto the
ground. He couldn't go back thanks to that promise he had made ten years
ago and the Tendo's were no longer an option. Hmm, he wondered if he
still had that house in Juuban where he had trained Ranma in the catfist
years ago.

"What!?! Your brother is coming over!?!!" Tsukino Kenji yelled in
surprise as his wife merely nodded. He tried to remember the last time
his worthless brother-in-law had come over. Wasn't that the time all the
cats started disappearing mysteriously?
"Yes and he says he's bringing Ranma along too," Tsukino Ikuko said,
grimacing slightly. She didn't really like her brother too much but he
was family.
Tsukino Kenji thought about it. Ranma? Wasn't that the name of his
nephew. From what Kenji had seen of Ranma, he didn't appear to be the
sort of son someone like Genma would have. Ranma almost seemed cute and
innocent at sometimes, but of course that had been several years ago.
Now Ranma would be; he calculated mentally, at least 16 years old.
----------
"Alright Ranma, from now on we'll be living here," Genma said, puffing
up his chest to give himself a look of authority; which failed
predictably as Ranma just kept grumbling.
"Why can't we go back to China! I want to get cured!!" Ranma yelled at
his father as he sulked. Suddenly he remembered why, there was a crazy
Amazon who was trying to kill him back in China just because he had
defeated her; talk about sore losers. That didn't really make his mood
any better though.
"Quit whining boy! Are you a girl or a man?" Genma said as he walked up
to the door. Although the house hadn't been properly taken care of for
years, it was in pretty good shape; nothing lots of fixing up wouldn't
fix.
Ranma looked up at the house and froze; ashen-faced, as all the
memories started coming back. He tried to run but Genma-panda had him
pinned down on the floor with his massive weight before he could even
get out of the front gate.
"Aaaaaaargh!! Let go of me!!! I don't wanna live there!!!Heeelp!!!"
Ranma screamed as he tried to get Genme-panda off of him.
-------
Ikuko cocked her head to the side, a brief frown creasing her face.
Finally, after a few seconds, she turned to her husband.
"Did you hear something?" Ikuko asked her husband.
"Nope."
Ikuko frowned again. Wierdly enough, she could have sworn she heard a
cry of distress coming down from the end of the street.
------
"Be manly boy!! Facing up to your fear is the only way to conquer it!
Are you a man or a girl!? Or has the curse scrambled up your brain too?"
Genma signed stoically from where he was sitting on top of Ranma.
Wierdly enough, his speech helped as Ranma stopped struggling.
Hesitantly, Genma stood up although he was ready if Ranma tried to run
away again.
Ranma eyes blazed with determination as he walked slowly towards the
house, one step at a time. He started gritting his teeth as he neared
the house. Finally, he stepped into the doorway as he looked around.
Everything was still the same as it had been when he left it. Almost
unbidden, images flashed in his mind; of him crying as his oyaji hauled
him out of the pit, of him begging his oyaji to stop the training.
Just then a furry paw settled itself onto Ranma's shoulder. With a
yell, he jumped up; his already jumpy instincts taking over. He clung to
the ceiling fearfully, as his heart thudded in his chest.
Genma-panda sighed, his paw still outstretched. This was going to take
a long time.
Notes:Oh joy, another idea..... Seriously though, my thinking and
writing prowess are not in dynamic equilibrium. I think up of ideas
faster than I can write them down. Sigh. Anyway, tell me what you guys
think of this. C&C very welcomed.
