"...and so that's what Americans believe about Christmas," Rei
concluded.

For a few moments, Usagi stood there, dumbstruck at the profound meaning
of the season. Slowly, stars appeared in both her and Chibiusa's eyes,
which became big and dewey. Rei sweatdropped at the sight.

"Oh pleaaaaasee..." whined Usagi. "Santa Claus, bring me neat toys like
a Sailor V action figure and lots of sweets!"

"[Plum pudding! Rum Raisin! Candy Cane!]" Chibiusa chirped out in her
heavily accented English.

"We must wait for him!" sobbed Usagi. "He might not know to come here!"
she darted to the window of Rei's room and pressed her face to the cold
pane.

"Usagi-chan! We're not supposed to *see* him!" scolded Chibi-usa as she
took up a position next to her future mother. ^_^

Rei's head had fallen in shame and her eyes were shadowed. "Usagi, it's
just a fairytale, Santa isn't going to bring you presents and sweets!"

"But I BELIEVE in Santa Claus!" Usagi protested with all the fervor
she'd used on any number of occasions when she'd converted villains into
good people. "So Santa will come!"

"Usagi....!"

Usagi turned away from the window, her expression much more coherent for
the moment. "Rei, did you forget we already met the Three O'Clock Fairy?
If he's real, why not Santa?"

Rei gaped, but just for a moment. Then she vaulted her bed and pressed
her face to the window. "Santa!!" she cried. "I believe in you too! I
want a new pair of red shoes and an idol singer outfit!"

Both Usagi the senior and Usagi the junior turned as one. "Don't believe
huh?"

Rei sweatdropped slightly and turned away from the window. "It can't
hurt, huh?"

Just then there was the ringing sound of sleighbells and a deep man's
voice crying out above Hikawa Shrine, "Hohoho! Merry Christmas to all,
and to all a good night!"

At this point, the three friends' eyes widened and they dashed for the
main room.


Happy Hollydaze! It was wither this or 'Sailor Moon Meets Santa Claus'
and I just don't have time to parody 'Santa Claus Conquers the Martians'
right now. Maybe next year. -_^
