I did get several comments on the lack of lemon, and not just from the 
"PUT IN MORE SEX PUT IN MORE SEX PUT IN MORE SEX!" folks, either. But 
considering Ryoko, Aeka, and Tenchi's emotional states during most of the 
story, sex just wasn't in the cards without it being very forced. Even 
Ryoko isn't in the mood *all* the time. ^_^

   The bulk of this
   chapter is spent tying up a lot of loose and not-so-loose ends from
   previous chapters, sweeping out all the untruths, half-truths, and
   misconceptions laying about the Masaki home.  Well, most of them,
   anyway. A few of the remarks that get made are bursting with dramatic
   irony, a few more with the more prosaic kind, and a few provide living
   proof that science jokes can be done and done to comedic effect.

In case I didn't mention it: thanks to everyone on the list who helped me 
earlier this year with the chemistry-related reality check necessary for 
the "covalent bonding" scene.

   And
   Noboyuki wins the coveted Silver Mihoshi for Most Incongruous Statement
   of the Year. 

If I may ask: which statement was this?

   All in all, a chapter that proves yet again that lemons
   with plot work. 18 and up out of 20.

   <Mweh. Heh. Heh.> My apologies to Andrew Haung. ^_^  I'm happy to
   see that Aikan Muyo is back on track.

OK, so I did take a *little* while getting it done. I was *extremely* 
worried that, after taking so damn long to finish it, everyone would 
either feel incredibly let down or simply have given up on it.

   The story although a lemon, does
   combine some of the best writing styles that I have seen within the
   plot and character development.  The scene between Kintarou and Nagi is
   one of the most... ummm.. interesting portrayals of Juraian culture...
   <snap! Hai! Oujo-sama....>

This was one subject that I didn't examine as deeply as I wanted to: the 
Juraian *male* perspective on the whole "oujo-sama" business. I'm going to 
go into this a bit more as things go forward.

   But even if I disregarded the underlying contextual basis for this
   lemon story, there is more than enough plotlines introduced that we, as
   readers must scrabble to catch.  We can see the differing aspects of
   the relationships between Ryouko, Tenchi and Ayeka... 

Thanks. The story is as much about how things progress between Ryoko & 
Aeka as it is about the love/lemon stuff with them and Tenchi.

   and the
   difficulties encountered when two very strong personalities consciously
   diminish themselves for love... ^^
