Having not read earlier parts of this, I was surprised to find
things seemed coherent right from the top; true, I was scratching
my head not knowing certain details of what came before, but at
least I wasn't left saying "wha?"
The jumping between fights is nicely timed, letting the reader see
a fair bit of each scene, neither staying too long to forget about
other events, nor too short that it wasn't worth the time. The
fight scenes are also fairly well done. Nothing over the top, and
nothing beyond the bounds of what the characters normally do with
rare exceptions (adding an unused stun weapon to Nuku Nuku isn't a
stretch, so it works).
Also to the author, you might want to check your "reminders" at the
start; I can see that you're changing names, but the error here
causes what you said to make no sense.
Wipes the sweatdrop from his head...
Ehehehehehe...
Yeah. I kinda messed up on that one. I _did_ remember reminding people to think of Radler/Tia as the same person. May have been less than direct about that. Suffice to say I'm working on the earlier chapters... the ones that had been all but messed up to begin with. And if anyone cares to know, I'm also doing Chapter 6 of Once and Future Goddess.
I'm glad of how the whole battle scene turned out. Better than I had hoped at first. Of course, the cleanup took a month to make.... *shudders*
Anyway, glad people liked it.
Another thing, I _will_ be posting the FINAL REVISIONS of the entire thing once I wrap up Chapter 20 not to mention the older chapters.... Of course, I still think I would finish Once and Future earlier than this one. ^_^
