In conjunction with Final Fantasy VII and Squaresoft (ie, characters
aren't ours).
The Good Hair Day
"Oh no, I'm out of ammo, it's up to you guys now," Barret yelled
to his two companions, stepping back from the fight.
"Mm. Well, I ran out a couple of minute's ago. But at least
Cloud's still got his sword," Vincent said from where he stood
somewhere off to the side.
"Yep. That thing never fails, will not break."
It broke.
"..." Both shouted.
"Okay, anyone got any materia left?" Barret was trying hard to
find something positive.
"Yuffie took all of it," Vincent stated bluntly.
"..." Cloud was being incredibly eloquent.
"So, now what?" Vincent asked, ignoring the animated piece of
Jenova that was trying to get their attention.
"Maybe Spiky-hair has an id...wait a minute. I've got it!
Vincent, you be the distraction, I'll take care of Jenova Death."
Vincent whipped off his cloak.
"OLE! OLE!"
The waving red material attracted Jenova Death's attention and
it looked at Vincent strangely.
Taking advantage of the distraction, Barret ran to where Cloud
stood looking at the two pieces of his sword and picked him up. He
drew in a deep breath, let out a mildly impressive war cry and
charged.
He drew Cloud back into a good throwing position and heaved
him forward through the air.
"..." Cloud said as he spiralled head-first towards Jenova Death.
SPLURCK.
Jenova Death exploded as Cloud's hair plunged into it's body.
"Yeah! Once again Cloud saves the day!"
From underneath his mask of gore Cloud replied, "..."
And as for Cloud's next trick...the Human Grappling Hook!

We've wondered for a while now exactly why Cloud had his unique
hairstyle and finally worked it out.
