has anybody given thought to the history of the Pokemon world? How did 
the Pokemon League come about? How were pokeballs invented? and so on.

Yes.  The only reason I haven't written it up and posted it is the 
torrend of Ideas I'm sorting (and Writing) for my Ranma 1/2-Pokemon 
crossover, and the Death Warrant DragonBard has on my head to finish BGR 
chapter 2.  I'm halfway done with both of them, by the way, and would be 
done by now if certain siblings would stop BUGGING me to get off so one 
of them can play on this damn computer!

[Deep breath]  You know, that felt really, really, good!
