Every couple of months, someone writes one of these silly Essays.  So, upon
seeing this one, the following thought crossed my mind: "Here we go again."

Hey, hold it. I'm new to this list, and I'm not sick of this debate yet. 
Now, I don't know whether this particular subject was done to death just 
before I joined, but I *do* know that I find threads about fanfic writing 
techniques a *lot* more interesting than threads about Akane's sexual 
orientation.
