Okay, this I agree with. Although my map calls it Nerima-ku (ku meaning
'ward').

According to everything I know, it *should* be Nerima-ku... 'cho' is
usually used for 'districts', such as Tomobiki, Furinkan, Juuban, etc.

I made a boo boo.  Jim Lazar and Lurker are quite right...
Nerima Ward is more properly called "Nerima-ku", whereas
the smaller subdivision of Nerima-ku also called Nerima
is properly called "Nermia-cho".
