I'm writing a story as well like this, however I named Ryouga's
grandson 'Ryouga.'
	Simple, ne?
	Ranma's grandaughter was Nene.

something playing on the idea that Ranma is 

	In my humble opinion, 
	Ranma: Fire
	Akane: Ice
	Ryouga: Nature
	Akari:  Soul

	Fire:  Total control over Heat; fluid, graceful, yet powerful
	Ice:  Total control over Cold; stiff and firm martial arts style
	Nature:  Power of Forestry, and all within.  (Plants)  Able to
draw power from the planet itself.  Not earth, which draws power from the
rocks and dirt.  Solid, strong style.  Lots of powerful attacks, but it
takes time.
	Soul:  Ability to comprehend the actions and needs of others;
empathy, caring, loyalty.  Cannot harbor anger or pain easily.

	In my heritage, my people have ten elements.  Four of which are
listed above.  Each element was attributed to a person's abilties.  The
more brusque and agile, people (like Ranma) were fire.  Ice were people
able to easily love Fire, but tending to have an odd quirk or too.  They
were a solid type of people.  Nature were people forever communing with
plants and animals.  They enjoyed wilderness and loneliness compared to
society.  But they tended to have many friends.  Soul could easily fall in
love, but when they did, they devoted themselves heartily.  It was easy to
commune your fears and hopes to one.
