Okay.... It has come to my attention that someone has asked about the
Bakusai Tenketsu. Far be it from me to not say anything...
The Bakusai Tenketsu is an ancient Amazon technique used mainly by males
in the quarry. Originally designed to aide in the breaking of stones,
it was adapted by Cologne to train one Hibiki Ryoga in the hopes that he
would defeat Saotome Ranma and win the heart of Tendo Akane, leaving
Ranma free to marry Shampoo, great grand-daughter to Cologne.
It is based on the principle that all objects have one point that, when
touched, causes said object to explode. This may be achieved by
striking with enough strength to send out ripples of force that resonate
throughout the structure, causing said object to literally, and
violently, shake itself apart. That theory would also explain why the
Bakusai Tenketsu only works on rigid structures, such as rock and wood,
and fails on non-rigid structures, such as flesh.
The training, as evidenced by Cologne, is perhaps the more useful part
of the Bakusai Tenketsu. As was seen, the matriarch had Ryoga slam his
person repeatedly into boulders far more massive then any normal human
could endure. Due to the repatition of this training, it made Ryoga
nigh invulnerable to impact, to the point that even Ranma's much vaunted
Katchu Tenshin Amaguriken technique failed to work at first. It wasn't
until Ranma applied the Chestnut Punch to a concentrated area that it
even seemed to have any affect at all.
Next week class, I will be explaining Ranma's Hiryu Shoten Ha, as well
as doing a comparison of the Hiryu Shoten Ha to Ken Master's Hado Sho
Ryu Ken.
Class dismissed. Enjoy your recess....
