You will get a ton of responses but here you go.
And here it is again, with some notes to go with the explainations.
Tenshin Amaguriken (Forgive Spelling on these: Technique Ranma learned
>from Cologne. Super Fast Punches. Several Hundred per second. A very
devestating move. Used by Ranma and Cologne.
Cologne taught Ranma this move so he could get the Phenix Pill from her.
The name(full name: Kachu Tenshin Amaguri Ken) basically means :
Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire Fist(or Attack). This come from the
fact that a master of the technique can pull roasting chestnuts out of a
fire without geting burned. Weather this is pure speed, or Ki-enhanced,
is usually up to the Fanfic writer.
Baski Tenkin: (Breaking Point Technique). Used on inorganic matter to
shatter it much like a grenade. Mostly used on rock. The technique
makes the user much tougher to physical damage. It allows Ryoga to
become much tougher. It also is good for smoke screens. Ranma had to
use the Tenshin Amaguriken to overcome Ryoga's resistence.
Cologne taught this to Ryoga to challenge Ranma. The name means:
Blasting Point Hole. The basis of the attack is that everything has a
point that, when struck, causes it to shatter. Of course, cologne never
told Ryoga or Ranma that it only worked on stone. The toughness come
from being repeatedly struck with boulders during training, or stone
fragments from the attack.
Shi Shi Hokaden: Depression Blast. Ryoga uses his manic depression to
generate Heavy Chi. Then launches it into the air. It lands back on
him and a blast radius is generated.
I think Ryoga learned this from a group of miners, to clear out loose
rock the Bakusai Tenketsu would've taken to long to break. And to kill
Ranma, of course. ^_^
Moka Takahishi: Shi Shi Hokaden's poorer cousin. It uses Ranma's
confidence to generate a chi blast. Can range greatly in power. Used
by Ranma when he is winning or finds purpose in the fight.
Ranma developed this move to counter the Shishi Hokudan.
Hiro Shoten Ha: Dragon ascension punch. Probably the most powerful of
all the techniques. Uses the heat from the enemies anger, lust, or chi
to generate a heat source. Ranma moves in a spiral forming a chi
vortex. When Ranma reaches the center of the spiral he uses his cold
spirit or cool chi in an upercut. It reacts with the hot chi forming a
tornado. A very cold tornado. Has been countered by both Taro, Herb,
and Happosi. How? Taro and Happi by not getting mad and releasing a
battle aura. Herb being the master a chi turns his off at the last
second.
Cologne taught this to Ranma when Happosai drained his strength.
Who uses what:
Ranma: Nekoken(By far most powerful technique), Hiro Shoten Ha, Moko
Takahishi, Tenshin Amaguriken, Shooting Star Kick, and several others.
The boy picks up techniques like bad habbits.
Or fiancees. :)
Ryoga: Baksi Tenchu, and Shi Shi hokaden. Despite many fanfic myths,
Ryoga is not a fast learner of special techniques. But what he does
know he uses well.
Cologne: Baksi Tenchu, Hiro Shoten Ha, Splitting Cat Hairs, Multiple
Pressure Points, and many more never revealed.
You forgot Shark-Fist.
Happi: Hapo Dakerin. In short bombs. Also has many chi attacks not
really given names too. Most involve lust or serve some purpose of
Voyerism.
Rest of cast really has not shown much chi ability.
They can generate a battle aura but can't manifest it into an attack.
Forgive the spelling as I really never bother with the Japanese names.
After all they have the same meaning when translated into english. ^_-
Nitpicking's my job. ^_^
Brad.
