I
think a lot of the attitude shifts come too fast.
Don't forget that Ranma isn't at his stubborn best - his father died,
remember? And his mother has progressively knocked down most of his
arguments.
<snip>
I still think this is too fast considering that Ranma is basically
scrapping his/her entire identity and self-image. Many stories which
have Ranma permanently female have "her" going slowly insane from it. I
am not saying that Ranma should not accept being Kikuko, but I think
that the change should be gradual over about two weeks or so. Other
than
that, the story is coming along quite well for a Ranma/SM story. Please
continue it.

Okay, a week and a half is kinda fast; but I still think Makoto's
acceptance of his curse might've helped a lot. And we've only really
seen Ranma's outright resistance to his father's ideas and 'training' -
the 'Stupid old man!' streak. Genma forced Ranma into doing damn near
everything through threats, insults, slander and the like, while Nodoka
didn't *force* him into it, though she could have, she coaxed him into
it. Like feeding seagulls food instead of broken glass...
Enough amateur psychology.
