True, maybe he heard the legends of the mysterious bird people 
that
lived there from the nearby villagers. I for one would like to see a
Ranma-Kima match up. I don't think it's been done before has it?

But that seems to be the direction of their relationship in Waters Under 
Earth.... I agree someone should write a story about them getting 
togeather. Maybe they fall in love while Kima impersinated Akane and 
when Ranma returns after Pheonix mountain she follows and he has to 
decide between her and akane, of course she still has the 
curse...........
