Heh... Okay I now know that this "Ranma gets split" thing has been done
before. And not only that but that it's been done *a lot*. I've only had
internet access for a little over a year and have only been reading fanfiction
for about half that time. Believe it or not, I haven't come across any other
split stories in that time except for Double Trouble.

   Mine may have started out sounding a lot like all of the others but really,
how else can you do it? I mean, he gets split, his female half gets bummed
because she got the short end of the stick, and everyone else is confused and
doesn't know what to make of the whole thing. I'm sure a lot of them start out
that way but that doesn't mean that the direction the story's going to take
will be the same. The idea may have been used before but it would seem to me
like the kind that would always be fun to read about.

   I guess what I really want to know is if I should continue this. I'm
probably going to keep writing it just because I started it and had fun doing
it, even if I know the characters' personalities aren't right on target. But
if this thing's too played out to be enjoyed by anyone then maybe it shouldn't
be posted. I don't want to post something that's going to be a pain to read.
Thanks to those who did comment on it though, as I live in what could be
called the middle of nowhere and have absolutely *no one* to read anything
that I write except family and of course they aren't any help because they
tell you it's good even if it's not. :)
