This is a short fic, with a little crossover, I came up with to answer a
question.

Myria looked over the valley where Rougewar castle stood. King Leon had
instructed she, Wriph, and Kodiak to take this castle from Tradnor, in
preperation for a rescue strike against the Fandarian Empire. However,
the Boy-Wizard who ruled the kingdom of Tradnor had taken the castle
before the Topaz forces could mobilize, and now the castle was being
held by Gigg, one of the notorious race of Dragonmen. His troops were
backed up by the knight Ardor.
Kodiak joined her. "I wish to lead the first assault. Their dragon
shall fall before my blade!"
Myria turned towards the samurai. "This is my mission. All of us are
going. You heard Raizak's warning."
Kodiak bowed. "Very well, shall we move then?" Myria nodded, then
roused Wriph from her meditations.
The Spirit User stood, floating several inches off the ground. "It is
time. The spirits are with us, we should go."
"I believe I already said that." Kodiak replied, smiling.

Gigg stared down at the mage, samurai, and spirit user standing at the
castle gate. He reflexively flapped his mighty wings, kicking up a
small cloud of dust. "You expect me to surrender to you?" he asked
incredulously. "You must be joking!"
Myria tapped the end of her staff in her hands, the wind rustled through
her turban. "No. And since you fail to listen, I have a very special
torture planned out for you..." Reaching into her robes, the elven mage
pulled out a pair of small paper slips. "Tickets to a Michelangelo
Boltonavous concert! Ha ha!"
Gigg's face contorted into a mack of rage. "How dare you! Ardor, take
her out!" The Knight nodded, about fourty horsemen formed up behind him
as the gate opened.
Wriph smirked. "I go first!" She reached into her dress and pulled out
a small red and white ball that expanded in her hand. Winding up, she
hurled the ball in front of her.
"Archers, I choose you!"

This just came to me as I was playing Dragon Force. In many of the
major battles in the game, a certain general (usually your monarch),
would have to go to a certain place alone, but when the fight begins,
they suddenly have up to a hundred troops at their back.
So I wondered: If they were supposed to be alone, where did all the
troops come from?
Then I saw Pokemon.
Dragon Force owned by It's creators, I forgot who. Pokemon(What little
there is) owned by Game Freak and Nintendo.
Just something that screamed out, "Write me!"
