Second Question/Challenge:  Looking at the different Alternate-Universe 
Ranma fic out there that change curses, I got to wondering(I do that a 
lot):  

Are there any Alternate-fics where Ranma fell into the spring of Drowned 
_CAT_?  I didn't think so.

Talk about confronting your fears.

    Quite the opposite, in fact.  While I do not remember the name or
author,
I have seen one such fic.  Ranma changes into a cat, which triggers the
"I am a cat" syndrome (but not the neko-ken?).  Since he never remembers
what happens in cat mode, he thinks that Genma did something stupid to
him that results in his blanking out when struck with cold water.  He
refused(s?) to believe that he changes, despite seeing Genma's
transformation.
    I think (but am not positive), that this is the fic where Soun tells
the daughters about the engagement several months early.  Akane is so
against the betrothal that she runs off to China to intercept the Saotomes.
She and Ukyo go to Jusenkyo, miss the Soatomes by days, and both end up
falling in the Spring of Drowned Boy....
    Anybody out there know more about this fic than I?
