already been answered about ten times.

Points to ponder:

- Answers to questions can be sent to the questioner by private mail.
  (Sure, that means they might get their mailbox filled with replies, but
  better them than the rest of us.)

- If you insist on sending your answer to a question to a list, at least
  check to make sure that it hasn't already been answered by someone else.
  If it has, then there's not much point in you repeating what's been
  said.
