<sigh!> I've said it once I will before. Pluto specifically told them to
leave well enough alone. Younger Jupiter protested about this but Pluto her
reason as, "This is their time and the proper one". As to the never clearly
explaine grudge, it was! It was Sakuya's own self-loathing and misguided
anger of Pluto that brought about the grudge. She recognized it in Tales of
Younger Venus and was working on it in Tales of Younger Earth. I'm sorry
if I sound angry but this is territory that we have covered before. Several
times in point of fact. Staying in the future most certainly wasn't calmly
accepted. If you've forgotten Sakuya was very intent on getting the hell
out of the future and back to their proper time in Tales of Younger Venus
until Pluto told her she couldn't. When Sakuya demanded why Pluto told them
that they were to stay there. Sakuya challenged this even more but
Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion came along and Pluto took off. She
didn't ahve any proof that they weren't in the right timeline so they can't
have simply gone to someone besides Pluto and said, "Excuse me but we're in
the wrong time."
Ahem. In additon to this, the source of the feud was (to me at least),
clearly set out in ToYJ... namely and specifically that Younger Jupiter
blames Pluto for a great deal of the suffering she went through as a child, in
and off the feeling that Makoto would have been there for both her daughter
and her granddaughter in their times of tragedy except for the fact that Pluto
told her that she couldn't... a "this must happen" sort of thing. I most
certainly would not see YJ becoming the person she was portrayed as, nor being
as effective in what she had to have done, if she hadn't been through what she
had.
Also clearly set out, even waaay back in ToYJ, but has since been moderated,
was a feeling in general that ALL the elder, outer senshi were... well... not
nice people.
Err... I didnt mean that the way it came out. But rather, that YJ felt that
way. Recall that during the time key incident, not only did Sakura mug Pluto,
but also attacked and temporarily incapacitated Haruka and Michiru, and from
what I read, enjoyed every minute of it, for whatever reasons.
