statement that Nodoka made ... Also there WILL be more to come for this

 Ranma FanFic verison .1

 Moring Tendou Dojo, Guest Room where Ramma and Ryoko are sleeping

 :Breep Breep Breep.: An alarm clock chimes at 0600.

 :SMASH: the alarm clock gets pounded

 �Groan.  Why do I get up this early?� Ramma-chan wonders then goes over
to the futon where Ryoko is sleeping. �Hime-chan, time to wake up and
pratice.� With this statement she gently shakes her daugther awake.

 <Momma? Time to pratice?> Ryoko asks sleeply.

 �Ryoko, please speak Japaese while we are in Japan, and while you are
at school.� Ramma gently smiles at her daugther.

 �Okay, Momma.� Ryoko beams at her mother.

 �Get changed into your gi and we�ll go pratice.� Ramma hands Ryoko her
Gi and Ryoko goes to the bathroom to brush her teeth and go change into
the gi.  Ramma gets up and grabs her own gi and gets dressed for moring
pratice.

 �Momma, I�m ready. Let�s go!� Ryoko chants at her mother.

 �Okay, let�s go.� With this Ramma-chan scoops her daugthers hand and
goes downstares.

 �Kausmi, you�re up early.� Ramma smiles at Kasumi.

 �Ramma-chan, Ryoko-chan, what are you doing up so early? Breakfast
won�t be ready for another hour.  You don�t need to be up this early.�

 �Mommy�s gonna pratice with me!� Ryoko sings.

 �I am going to pratice some Martial arts, and since her fifth birthday,
Ryoko has joined me in pratice, so I am teaching her the Arts.  However
I am NOT doing what my father did with me.� Ramma-chan grins at Kasumi.
�I think what he did both to me and My mother, was totally unexsable, by
any standard.� Ramma-chan looks like she is about to contiune, but is
interrupeted by her Mother.

 �Glad to see that, Ramma.  What are you training her in?� Nodoka asks
her daugther.

 �Hello, Grandmother� Ryoko says to Nodoka, reaching for a hug, which
Nodoka gives.

 �Right now I am teaching her the Tai chi katas, she�s learned some
kempo, kendo, and some akido.  I have been training her for three
years.  She�s nowhere near ready for the more advanced moves of the
family�s school.� Ramma-chan smiles, and contuines �Manly because I
haven�t taken her on any so-called training trips, feeling that her
schooling and social development is more important.�

 �What are you doing up this early?� Akane asks Ramma-chan

 �Training, manly katas, Ryoko wanted to learn the Arts after she
figured out what I was doing when she was five, so I taught her katas.�
Ramma-chan smiles at Akane.  �Do you want to join in? Right now Ryoko is
working on Tai Chi, a great defensive style, plus good for patiance and
grace. It helps me to matian self control and control of my temper, and
I do have one.� Ramma laughs.

 �Well, normally I jog, and my gi is in the wash, how about I join you
tomorrow, this is just pratice right?� Akane looks at Ramma-chan

 �Yes it is, If you wish, after we take care of what we have to to do
today, and shopping. I�ll teach you the basic Tai Chi Kata, plus spar
with you to find where you are at in the Arts.� Ramma pauses, and then
contiunes. �By this time, My funds transfer from the accounts me and Dee
set up should be done by now, so funds for the shopping trip are no
problem, and I will treat all of us, those that go that is, to lunch.�
Ramma smiles at Akane, and adds, �Well, better get to pratice.� Ramma
takes Ryoko and heads off to the Dojo.

 Akane goes off and jogs, while Kasumi and Nodoka follow Ramma and Ryoko
to see the pratice.

 �Ryoko-chan, first kata, Tai chi. Begin.� Ramma states.

 Ramma watches as her daugther executes the kata, with no mistakes.

 �Good. Now do your normal katas, while I pratice.� With that Ryoko and
Ramma begin katas.  Ryoko�s is easly less difficut than Ramma�s, whose
kata is the most advanced ethier lady has seen, obivisbly a tai chi
based one, but with major diffeneces from a standard tai chi kata.
Ryoko�s kata is no beginner level, it is in fact as complex or as
skilled as one that Akane herself would do.

 After about ten minutes Gemma walks in looking for Ramma.  What he sees
is two skilled martial artists praticing katas, one of which happens to
be his child.  �Ramma, I want to spar with you.  As a MALE, you are my
son, and I expect you to act that way.� Gemma barks.

 :ZAP: Genma is blasted outside by a lighting bolt.

 �Father, I will spar with you in the form I choose, not you and please
wait a second, Father.  Oh, and remember I am OLDER than you are now, so
if you think I will obey YOUR orders, you have a problem connecting with
reality. � Ramma-chan contuines on for a second and then stops.  �Ryoko
contuine the katas� I�ll be outside Sparring with your grandfather.�
Ramma walks up to Gemma and asks, �Are you ready?�

 Ramma and Gemma begin to spar, but it is obivious to all that Gemma
SERIOUSLY underestimated his child, and the fight end quickly with Gemma
being tossed into the pool several times.  With this, Ramma checks her
watch, and finds that it is time to go inside and get ready for the day.

 �Ryoko, time to get ready for the day.� Ramma stops her child.

 �Ramma, could you please wait a minute? Nabiki can watch over Ryoko in
the bath.� Nodoka asks her child.

 �What is it Mother?� Ramma asked her mother, curious.

 �Have you had your ship set up the records for you and Ryoko, yet?�
Nodoka asks.

 �Yes, I have, Dragon just made a few changes in my records, but I have
no idea what to do about Ryoko. Do you have any ideas on HOW I shold set
her up?� Ramma-chan asks her mother.

 �I do have a few ideas yes.  Can you place me in contact with your
ship? Also I wish to know, Are you going to be �female� in pubic, is
there a way to keep the curse from activating?� Nodoka asked.

 �To the first question dial this number it will contact you with
Dragon, who knows what your voice sounds like, so she will regonize you.
On the second question, yes I can rasie the tempature needed to go to
uncursed form up to around 97 degrees,  or lower the temp. needed to
change into female gender to about 8 degrees.  I have much skill with
that. I think that I will be male for school, unless you have a better
idea? Also, I might ask Akane what she thinks about it, However, I will
let it ride when I am just out and about, I will cast a �don�t see�
spell related to the change. Now, if you will excuse me, I must clean up
before breakfast.� Ramma gracefully retreats to the bathroom.

 Ranma walks into the bathroom carrying hers and Ryoko�s clothing for
the day.  She hears Nabiki talking to Ryoko as she walks in to the
bathroom.

 �Ryoko, what does your mother do back where you live?� Nabiki asked
Ryoko.

 Ramma walks in and goes, �Nabiki, if you want to know what my carrer is
back in the Star Kingdom, you could have just asked me. I would not have
minded telling you, that my last assignment back home was as Tac officer
for a heavy cruiser, and that was before Ryoko was born. For the first
year after her birth, I was on medical leave, and I took care of her,
instead of doing anything else, I opted for Half-pay status while Ryoko
was growning up, therefore I was not doing anything as a carrer, exepect
rasing Ryoko, so I took courses at Landing Medical School, and got my
medical dergee, plus I did my intership at Landing General as a trauma
sugeron, plus studing genetic engineering.  Still, when I go back to
Manitcore, I plan to go back into the Navy as a tatical officer, or
mabye a medical officer, I haven�t decided which yet.  Dragon will be
outfitted as a medical ship for forward duty, if I choose the medical
option.  Why are you asking what my carrer was back home Nabiki?� As
Ramma was saying this, she had disrobed and cleaned up from the moring�s
exercise.  She changed into her usual outfit, and was now helping Ryoko
finish getting ready for the day.  Ryoko had gotten out of the tub and
was now dressed in a verison of what Ramma herself wore, sans cloak and
instead of green, the colours were blue and gold.

 �Errr, Sorry about that, I am so used to finding out information that
has been hidden, so when you didn�t say what your current carrer is, I
assumed that you were hiding it, for some reason.  I�m sorry for asking
your daughter about it.  The reason why I was asking, is that Daddy�s
students and what savings we have only go so far, and I was wondering
what you could do to help out?�  Nabiki says, feeling flusterd.

 �Okay, just next time if you wish to know something about me, come to
me first, I may not tell you, but I will tell you WHY I don�t want to
talk about it.  Anyways, I do have some funds that I can transfer, I
just need to spend a day in Switzerland, I think, setting it up.� Ramma
replies to Nabiki, and then contiunes, before Nabiki can interupt. �
Just tell me how much my fair share of the bills are and I�ll get you
the yen for it.� Ranma paused.

 �Okay, but why would you have to go to Switzerland?� Nabiki asks.

 �Simple, I need to convert gold into swiss francs then into yen, unless
you know somewhere closer? Or am I wrong that Tokyo does NOT have a
place to exchange gold for yen?� Ranma asks.

 �Actually, yes, I can have gold converted to yen, at a slight cost of
course.� Nabiki smiles at Ranma.

 �5% surcharge, right? Just give me a base est. of the rent and other
costs for two months in advance, and I�ll get you the gold at tomorrow�s
rate for it. Also, I will want to see the actual figures for all costs,
and then we can go from there.� Ranma smiles at Nabiki.

 �Breakfast is ready.� Kasumi calls from downstares.

 Everyone is at the table downstares eating breakfast.  Gemma tries
stealing Ramma�s and Ryoko�s food but runs into a invisible wall and
gives up.  Ryoko, who is used to western style eating, has a funny look
on her face as she tries the breakfast, but soon is eating like everyone
else (AN: If you seen the way Ranma eats in the anime, Ryoko is doing
that while Ranma is eating normally).

 �Ramma, Why did Ryoko look at breakfast funny?� Nodoka questions her
child, curious on why Ryoko took a while to start eating.

 �Mph�� :swallow: � She�s never had a japanese style breakfast before.
On Manticore, it is too hard to get some of the indgredintes for
breakfast, plus I never did learn how to cook miso soup, nor did my
steward,  but I did learn, due to the fact that the Kingdom was settled
primarly by europeans and americans, western style cooking.  So she�s
never really had Japaneses cooking.� Ramma looked at her mother, curious
why her mother had asked that question.

 �Umm, before you three head off shopping, plus getting you registered
for school.  I need to discuss some of the, umm, problems surrounding
the engagement.  Ranma, Akane, when I and Keiko set up the formal
engagement between you two, we used the most formal way of doing it.  In
fact, we actually married you two on the engagement, but the marrige
does not, humm, how do I say this?  Take effect?  Until BOTH of you are
seventeen.  I do need to know how you plan to deal with this situation,
after all you can get a divorce, but I would hope that you both will
conisder at least trying to carry this out.  Also I will need to know if
Ranma will be going to school as a boy or a girl, so we can deal with
that.� Nodoka pauses and looks at the two she has been talking about.

 :Blink, Blink, Blink: Ranma looks at her mother and thinks to herself
#Why didn�t the Lengend Lore spell pick this up?? It did hint that there
was more to the engagement than just a formal promise, but the spell DID
not reveal this� Ohhhh, this is NOT what I wanted to hear, I really got
to learn to double-check things�# Then Ranma looks at Akane, fearing her
response.

[Yes I do know that there should be more� but I am waiting for a way for
Akane to respond to come to me or for someone else to give me a good
idea]
