	"AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!! Get away from me!"

	Shinji shrank away, his face pale as he tried to distance himself 
through the bathroom wall. "A-Asuka! D-don't you know that's c-
contagious?!?"

	"I know, dammit!" the second child moaned. "Now how can I pilot my 
EVA?!? How can I go to school? How can I face Kaji-kun? My social life's 
ruined!" 

	Misato slammed the door open. "It's too early! What the heck is 
going---" She stepped back. "Gosh, Asuka! What happened to you?"

	"I don't know..." Asuka replied, washing her face. "Must have been 
that stupid cold I had yesterday. God! It itches!"

	"Stop that!" Misato ordered. "You'll only make it worse!"

	"And you'll infect more people doing that..." Shinji followed. 

	"But what the hell do I do?!?" Asuka wailed. "The pain's 
unbearable! I can't wait for it to go away!"

	Shinji suggested, "it's not such a big deal. Why not stay at home 
for once and rest?"

	"IDIOT! I can't stay in this boring place the whole day! I'll 
absolutely die!" Asuka slammed her fists on the bathroom sink. "And what 
if an angel attacks? I can't let a total jerk like you carry on the great 
responsibility of protecting the earth!"

	Misato thought for a while. "She's right. Asuka can't pilot an EVA 
in her condition. Contact with the LCL and your eyes can infect the EVA 
with conjunctivitis. And that could have some very dire consequences."

	Asuka biii-ed at Shinji. "Told you so, idiot."

	"Here..." Misato tossed her sunglasses to Asuka. "It's still a bit 
early. I want you to talk to Rei about this."

	"What?!?" Asuka protested. "Just because my eyes are as red as that 
bitchy wonder girl doesn't mean any---"

	"No buts..." Misato said.  "Go now before you infect the both of 
us..."

                                  * * *	

	"Gosh, what kind of slob would live at a place like this?" Asuka 
muttered as she stood before Rei's door. "Well, it is that wonder bitch 
anyway..." She pushed shades up the bridge of her nose and took a deep 
breath. "The sooner I get this over with, the better..."

	*knock*knock* "Hey wonder girl, are you home? I'm here on official 
business so don't you go thinking that I like you or anything..."

	Rei opened the door and gave her a small eyedropper. "Capt. 
Katsuragi called up and told me about your situation."

	Asuka peered at the little bottle. "What the hell is this, wonder--
-" she stared Rei in the eye and her mouth dropped open in shock. 

	Rei's green eyes glittered in the morning sunshine. "That is 
Visine. Gets the red out in 60 seconds..."
