Neither... as FAQ co-maintainer, the blame should probably rest with me.
WW asked me to put together a revised version of the FAQ and I've not
had time yet.

Send mail to <ffml-request@fanfic.com>. Put the commands (e.g. subscribe
ffml) in the body of the message. <listar@fanfic.com> is an alternate
address that should work. The old fanfic-request@ and majordomo@
addresses will *not* work
