I so happyyyyyy!

I just finished fine tuning and soon, very soon, after almost 3 months 
of shamless self-promotion, the very first part of my very first Fic, 
Ranma Nibun no Usugurami will be posted. (Watch the disk I'm saving it 
on get eaten by my computer.)
And before I get heartlessly flamed, I would like to note that this Fic 
will not be in the original flavour. I tried to start it out that way 
but it grew a mind of its own and threatened to turn my hard drive into 
a stack refried beans if I didn't comply with its demands. As much as I 
like food, I needed my computer more so I complies and it thanked me by 
orginizing my room using the printer as a vaccuum cleaner. I tried to 
explain the inconsistancy with cannon Ranma in my work because it wasn't 
really an alternative universe either.

Some other important things to note:
In one of my previous postings, I tried attaching a file from Word98 
only to have people to tell me that they couldn't read it since they 
didn't have Word98. But in my Fic I have to distingush between speech 
and thought and, although it is ingenious, using ** or <> to represent 
thought wasn't working for me. So now I'm doing the next best thing: I 
will post RNU in hypertext format. (If your browser can't support 
*that*, how are you reading *this*? ^_^) That way I can keep the 
oringinal format (almost) of my work and all of you can still read it.
(Isn't that wonderful? ^~^)

Secondly, I haven't held anything back in my writing. My Fic WILL 
contain at least:
One lemon scene; two if I'm feeling especially raunchy one day.
The death of three main characters, and lots of others as I make them 
up.
And a whole shit-load of bad language. (Think about it, when do a bunch 
of hormone-crazed teenagers NOT swear?)

If these elements are bound to upset you, please do not even BEGIN 
reading the Fic. (Though I hope you still will.) I will not take them 
out, and the story will make no sense if you try to read around them.
I know that many Fics have survived without them and gone on to great 
recognition (DnR/DnU immeadiately pops to mind, one of many) but this is 
my writing style. I will slap on the appropriate [dark][lemon] warnings 
as neccesary but I hope all who's willing will at least give it a 
chance. If I haven't responded to any of your fics yet, I probably still 
will. I've been spending most of my waking hours polishing RNU but I 
have faithfully been storing all the fics that have been posted on the 
list so far so I should start churning out responses soon.
