My reply to my own challenge.

The Flood
By Ryo Hoshi

They had been shut in the same room for five days. Normally, they wouldn't
have been stuck in a room together for so long -- the Management disapproved
of mixing animes and mangas. Wasn't healthy for all parties involved.
Of course, it wasn't healthy to leave the place. Not with the weather trying
to do a repeat of Noah's flood.
	"I can fly...why can't I leave?"
The otaku who had, via an unexplained sequence of computer and human errors,
ended up getting transferred into class, pointed out the window. "You can't
fly in *that.*"
"I'm hungry!" chorused several of the men.
"Besides, we need somebody around who can get those guys to shut up. If
they're so hungry, they'd at least *try* Akane's attempt at cooking..."
Trunks, Goten, Usagi, and Ranma looked at her strangely. The rest of her
classmates and her teacher simply facefaulted.
	"Oh, yeah. I forgot. Gomen..."

A few days later, it stopped raining. The class had moved to the roof --
mainly because the classroom had flooded.
	"I'm hungry!"
"Then blast some damn pigeons and eat them!!!"

Several hours later a rescue party rowed over. The otaku noticed that they
were staring at the people blasting the pigeons.
	"Aren't they blasting those pigeons..."
"Yeah...you know, you'd be amazed at some of the attacks people use on
pigeons around here..." the girl paused. "You'd be amazed at some of the
attacks the pigeons use, too."

End.
Think this works...
