I need help.
This just came out of the blue and started attacking me. I know it's already
been used, but I doubt it was used like this!

The Hunt For The Change of Address Form
By Ryo Hoshi
Outside Vogon Government Complex 26:
"Let's see...one copy of the change of address forms from this office
complex."
She looked up. "You gotta be kidding...that building has got to be at least
100 stories!"
"Hey, it's what the list says."
"I hate scavenger hunts."
"So do I."
In the Office of Arcane Forms, Ground Floor:
"One copy of the change of address forms, please."
"Try the Office of Abnormal Forms. Ten floors up and seven doors to you
right. You can't miss it."
In the Office of Abnormal Forms, two hours later:
"One copy of the change of address forms, please."
"You want the Office of the Post. Up ten floors, just to the right of the
elevator."
In the Office of the Post, an hour later:
"One copy of the..."
"Office of Arcane Forms. Down twenty floors." The lady turned back to her
typewriter and started typing again.
The pair left the room, the girl muttering under her breath, "Wonder if she
says that to everyone."
The boy did not reply. He did not need to. His battle aura said it all.
Outside, noon:
A large blast soared up into the atmosphere. It didn't attract much
attention: it was, after all, a frequent occurrence.
"Feel better?"
"Yeah."
In the Office of Arcane Forms, 12:05:
"One copy of the change of address forms, please."
"Oh, it's you again. Try the Office of the Post."
"Already have."
"Try the Office of Missing Files. It's..."
"I'd rather use the directory, thank you."
Several Days later:
The girl sat up and stretched. "I wonder if the others are having as much
trouble as we are?"
"I doubt it..."
"Let's see...the Office of Lost Files should be opening in a few minutes.
You head over there, and I'll take the Office of Forms...meet you here after
all the offices are closed, okay?"
"Okay."
The two shrugged on their backpacks and headed in opposite directions. We
notice that the office they are camping in is called the Office of Campers.
The Office of Campers, a week later:
"I think we're going to be here forever," the girl commented upon waking up.
A month has passed:
"I think you're right."
"Huh?"
Two years pass:
"I say she has your face."
"Well, say whatever you want, she is our daughter."
Three more years pass:
An assorted group of people stand outside of the building.
"So this is where my uncle vanished into?"
"Yeah..."
The boy and girl walk out, the girl holding a two-year-old. Both are very
happy, and swinging their very heavy looking backpacks.
"I can't believe it! How in the world did you manage to get those forms?"
"I just started killing every bureaucrat who rerouted me somewhere else until
someone decided that it'd be very healthy to give me the forms already..."
The End?
